Kari Koch

Business Coordinator, and Director of Training 

  Kari is another "best of the best" and invited into the TRS top Staff Position, Business Coordinator.   She is one of the few graduated the Master Trainer program "Summa cum laude".   She is a Certified Master Trainer, and Certified Educational Instructor.

  She heads the Training department under the supervision of Tom Rose. Kari and Jake together constitute an unequaled instructor team for the students here at the Tom Rose School.  She brings over 25 years experience in sales and marketing in the pet industry from one of the top kennels in the country. Kari is a huge supporter of many rescue groups, rehabilitating over 350 dogs during her successful career.  Her continued support includes putting on demonstrations for many Humane Societies, Rescue Groups and Veterinarians.  Kari’s history with dogs and working with people goes way beyond the norm!

  Kari’s experience in obedience includes AKC, PSA and Schutzhund and experience training dogs and handler teams for all phases.  She exhibits in AKC and in PSA (Protection Sports Association) where she competes at the National level.  She professionally obedience trained over 3000 dogs of all breeds and ages and is an approved AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) evaluator.

Kari is in charge of facilitating the curriculum, instructing, and student relations for the Tom Rose School.  This includes dogs for Obedience, Agility,  Narcotics detection, Tracking, Search and Rescue and other police related requirements. She also heads the  training department for the Dog house, inc..
